We met at the Carlow speaking event on Wednesday and I was really taken by the way you spoke about what you have faced in the past few years and how you brought tears to my eyes as you told your story straight from your heart, it was great to see someone who was willing to tell it warts and all.. I applaud you for your openess and honesty. I went and bought your book yesterday and since i got it i have not been able to stop reading it.. What an inspiration you are and I wish you all the best of luck in your future.

I look forward to finishing your book and already ive got a few friends who are going to buy it as well..

Your talk was very inspirational and I picked up a lot of useful tips on how to survive the recession.

I bought your book, it is very inspirational and uplifting.

I am just writing to say a big “Well Done”

I’ve been in the motor trade most of my life and have seen the struggles and the effects downturns.

I know the pain which is there, only too well. I am in the throws of making changes and still am determined to advance in the trade.

Just wanted to drop you a line to congratulate you on the book, I started and finished in one day (ifs thats a record chalk it down !!) It was “gifted” to me by Dad who I know also enjoyed it hugely.

It was really inspiring to read such a searingly true account of trading as a self-employed person in these times but it was also a story of great hope for the future.

Anyway I must now return the book to Dad who no doubt will “gift” it on to someone else, the likes of Joe won’t do anything for your book sales but he’ll definitely help spread the word on the great content !!
